The LORSAT Advisory Board (AB) brings together experts from academia, industry, and standardisation body in IoT, LPWAN technologies, and satellite communication. The AB will advise the project first on the definition of the system requirements, and afterward on the relevance of the proposed solutions to the tackled technical issues, in the context of the selected use case (precision agriculture). The AB specifically gathers experts in the following areas:

• IoT service and application providers for smart agriculture, both at national and international level, with Catalin Chitu, CEO of FrontierConnect and Dr. Srđan Krčo, CEO of DunavNET.
• LPWAN (LoRa) network providers, with Dr. Alexander Pelov, CEO of Acklio, and co-chair of the LPWAN WG within the IETF standardization body.
• Satellite manufacturer and supplier, with Dr. Eduardo Cruz from GomSpace
• LoRaWAN and SATCOM academic experts, with Prof. Thierry Gayraud, and Dr. Nicola Accettura from LAAS-CNRS, working respectively on satellite, hybrid networks, and LPWAN LoRaWAN networks.

The experienced AB members are expected to provide technical advices and extend the range of skills and understanding of the LORSAT team members.
